The Honeycomb Life Turns One!

This time last year, I had just launched my third -- yes, third -- attempt at blogging and sharing my creative side with the world (or at least, the internet). Little did I know, a global pandemic, shutdown, and quarantine would happen just weeks later.

As I reflect on the last year, I can't help but think about the uncanny timing of it all. I had so many ideas that got wrecked into something even better than I had planned. While my husband continued working a full time job in the mess of the pandemic, I had all the time in the world on my hands... literally. I didn't have pretty places to go or fun people to see; instead, I had books to read, a neighborhood to take walks in, a laptop to write on, and Jesus to lean on.

His timing is perfect. He re-ignited my passion for writing just months before giving me the idea for The Honeycomb Life in the middle of a transitional season. And then He gave me the courage to launch it at the start of what I never could have guessed would be one of the most difficult years of our lives thus far.

The Honeycomb Life started as a way for me to get creative. It turned into a way for me to connect with people I never would have met otherwise, and it's developing into an outlet for me and a hub (or should I say, hive) for others.

I don't know what this year holds for me, for the world, or for The Honeycomb Life, but I do know that it can only go up from here.

Thanks for sticking around. Here's to a year of m o r e.

xoxo, Erin
